A Space Learning Centre Our Background

The Co-Founder and President of Galaxy Space University College, Mr. Victor Tagborloh saw the need there should be Space University to train young Africans and other Nationalities in Space from Africa. The President with his ambition of taking Ghana to Space by 2030 as the CEO of Galaxy Aerospace Ghana saw the future to educate and train the African continent on the use of Rockets and Satellites for Socio Economic Development.

Galaxy Space University College will be the sole university in Ghana and Africa devoted entirely to space education incorporated in 2024.

In the near future, Galaxy Space University College will be made up of a unique network and partners around the world with a Campus in Winneba, Ghana West Africa and partnerships with leading space organizations worldwide.

The Galaxy Space University College is a private institution recognized as an institute of higher education in Ghana by the Ghana Educational Ministry and also recognized by other agencies and universities in the future.

Today, we rely increasingly on space assets for our economy and many other aspects of our everyday lives. The space sector is increasingly integrated with global economic sectors. Space is key for a better understanding of our planet Earth, climate change, and for supporting the world’s overall socio-economic development in the years to come.

The night sky and dreams of travel into space have inspired myths and legends and artists long before the space age. Stars were the main means of finding direction and navigating before the compass and GPS. Space enthuses many of us. It has the potential to concern all students and researchers as this field covers a broad range of subjects and applications, ranging from the design of space habitat concepts for the moon or mars to psychosocial and health challenges of living in Space, law governing space-related activities, astronomical art, space engineering.

The evolving space economy with new and emerging space countries, is developing a vibrant commercial and public space sector, with new unprecedented entrepreneurial leadership and private investment, offering Galaxy Space University College students and professionals exciting future perspectives. 

These translate after studying at our university into great opportunities for employment in academia, space agencies, or in the booming space industry. It is simply a smart decision to receive space education right now in Ghana.
